In 1931 Charles A. Lindbergh flew together with his wife Anne Morrow Lindbergh, who acted as radio operator, to China. He used a single engined Lockheed Sirius on floats. They flew all the way from Washington, D.C. across Canada and Alaska to Japan and then continued into China.
