The Franklin Engine Company was an American manufacturer of aircraft engines. 1933 the company was purchased by a group of ex-employees and renamed Aircooled Motors in 1937. While the company kept the name of "Aircooled Motors," its engines continued to be marketed under the Franklin name.
The Franklin 335 engine was a 6 cylinder air cooled opposed engine with a rated horse power of 150 or 165, depending on the model. This manual is for both versions:
