Currently, I do not ship to EU countries other than Germany!
The EU hinders intra-European trade for small businesses. As of August 12, 2026, merchants shipping to EU countries are required to register and license their transport packaging for each individual EU country. Furthermore, an authorized representative must be appointed in each of these countries. The costs involved amount to approximately €300 to over €600 per country, per year, in base and service fees alone. There are 27 EU member states. These fees apply to each country regardless of whether one ships a single package there or hundreds. These annual additional costs—exceeding €10,000—and the associated bureaucratic burden are beyond the means of my antiquarian bookshop.
Consequently, until further notice, I can only ship books to Germany and to countries outside the EU.
Shipping to the USA resumed - with restrictions! Due to President Trumps Executive Order "Suspending Duty-Free De Minimis Treatment For All Countries" shipping to the USA can only be done via DHL even for light items. The shipping cost did increase due to the new requirements.
